What Makes Us Different
San Juan Football Club (SJFC), known as The Islanders, is a community-centered youth soccer organization based in Friday Harbor, Washington. We are an affiliate of Orcas Island FC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, and we serve local athletes who are passionate about learning, improving, and representing their community with pride.
Our club was founded to give island players the opportunity to train and compete at a higher level year-round. We strive to make quality coaching and meaningful competition accessible to families on San Juan Island without requiring travel off-island for most training.
Players in SJFC participate in regional competition and proudly represent Friday Harbor and the San Juan Islands. We believe in long-term development and coaching that supports players’ growth technically, tactically, and personally.
San Juan Football Club is committed to fostering an environment where players can build confidence, teamwork, and resilience while experiencing the joy of playing soccer. To ensure that our club remains affordable and sustainable, we rely on community support, partnerships, and contributions from local families and sponsors.
Being an island-based club means we take a different approach than most programs. SJFC was built to provide:

What Makes Us Different
San Juan FC currently fields teams beginning at the U10 level, with future plans to expand into additional age groups as demand grows. Our teams train locally in Friday Harbor and compete in regional leagues and tournaments during the spring and fall seasons.
